Unroe
Engineering has been involved in many exciting and interesting project
over the years. We have worked with clients large and small, public and
private. We have always strived to provide the most effective individual

interesting projects.
Pillar
Ridge, Pillar Landing & Pillar Cove
Pillar Development, LLC
This project consisted of three residential subdivisions on three separate
parcels in South Clermont. Included were site design & engineering for
66 single family lots, 3,500 lineal feet of county spec streets, water distribution
system, and stormwater retention.
Maguire
Crossing
Z&S, LLC - Sal Maiwandi
Construction of 24,000 sf of new retail space in two buildings on a 3.0 Acre
parcel at the corner of Maguire Rd and Professional Parkway in Ocoee, Fl. Sitework
included design & layout of parking, sewer and water distribution system
and on-site wet detention pond with block wall sides.
Amkor
Ready Mix, Inc. - Taft Concrete Plant
Amkor Ready Mix, Inc.
This project consisted of a new 2.5 acre concrete batch plant facility of a
7.5 acre site. Sitework included: design and layout of parking and truck maneuvering
areas, aggregate storage bins, control tower and batch plant layout, stormwater
retention for discharges from a concrete batch plant (FDEP regulation), truck
drum washout recycle facilities. Also included mitigation of approximately
2.3 acres of wetlands.

Center at MetroWest

This project consisted of two 12,500 sf office buildings on a 3.5 Ac parcel
in MetroWest. Sitework included design of parking, retaining walls, water and
sewer distribution systems.
United
States Postal Service - New Airmail Facility
United States Postal Service
This project consisted of a 45,000 sf. new airmail building added to an existing
postal facility. The sitework included: detailed design of parking and driveways,
semi-truck loading docks, interior push-cart loading facilities, connection
to existing water, sewer and fire protection on a 1.5 acre site adjacent Orlando
International airport runways.
Sawtek,
Inc. - Expansion of Electronic Manufacturing Facilities
Sawtek, Incorporated
The project consisted of a 32,000 sf. addition to an existing commercial manufacturing
and office building. The sitework included: new driveway entrance and associated
right and left turn lanes on Highway 441, 220-car parking expansion, expansion
and redesign of existing stormwater management facility, connection to the
city of Apopka sewer and water service, and fire protection.
Intermediate Recycling Storage & Transfer Facility
Lake County Department Of Solid Waste Management
Design and construction management of a new Storage and Transfer facility for
management of recyclable materials. Using the natural sloped terrain, the facility
was designed with a modified tipping floor and a 20-foot high Reinforced Earth
Wall. The facility is roofed to ensure separation of leachate and storm water
runoff. The project included connection of leachate line to the landfill pumping
station and connection to fire protection and domestic water.
Repair
Stormwater Drainage, Multi-Family Housing
MacDill Air Force Base
Design of flood protection and drainage improvements to a 240-acre portion
of the multi-family residential area of the MacDill Air Force Base. Unroe Engineering
provided an analysis of the existing storm sewer capacities and resulting flood
conditions. The project design included a combination of pumping stations,
headwalls, tidal valves and additional storm sewer piping, to relieve the flooding
during high tide conditions.
West
Oaks Square - New Commercial Center
Sandev Inc., Ocoee, Florida
Design and development of a two phase commercial center adjacent Lake Lotta
in Ocoee, Florida. Site work included: connection to County sewer and water
(jack & bore), driveway connection to Highway 50, Parking and access to
serve both sites. Due to severe site restrictions the stormwater retention
was placed under the buildings.
Carter Road Industrial Park
Carter Road Industrial Park
Development of a new 7 acre Industrial park. Work included a new subdivision
plat, common stormwater retention area, City of Winter Garden sanitary lift
station, new platted street and three warehouse buildings with associated parking
and access.
University
Centroplex
University Centroplex, LLC, Orlando, Florida
New four story office complex on a undeveloped site in Orlando. Site work included:
a new 126 care parking lot, connection to local sewer & water and a new
stormwater retention pond.

Commerce Park
Holder Investments, Inc.
Development of a new 7 acre industrial park in Winter Garden. Work included
a new subdivision plat, common stormwater retention area and two warehouse
buildings with associated parking and access

Gas Transmission, Inc.
Florida Gas Transmission, Inc.
This project consisted of design of a new fire protection system for an existing
natural gas transmission compressor station.
Sonic
Drive-in - University Blvd, Semoran & Yew and Longwood
Sonic Drive-in, Orlando, Florida
Design and development of a fast food drive-in restaurant at three locations
in Orlando, Florida. Sitework included: car service and drive-thru facilities,
common use access driveways and connections to existing services.
